A:AnswerThere's a lint trap in the bottom right front corner of the machine to catch things like loose threads, coins, and other debris. But there's no lint trap like the mesh screen type in a conventional dryer. The large black rubber gasket/door seal gets a lot of lint on it during the dry cycle. I always clean this off with a baby wipe between loads. I haven't had any problems with lint balls being left on clothes so far.
A:AnswerHi Alpine - Thanks for your interest in GE! A typical load would be 3 jeans, 3 shirts and 2 pants or a queen size sheet set. We suggest viewing "Loading Examples" on page 15 of the Use and Care Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000230-2.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. A:AnswerI don't believe you can. I paused the dryer during the drying cycle expecting it to unlock the door but the door remained locked. I haven't figured out a way to unlock the door during either cycle.
A:AnswerHello Pat,
Thanks for reaching out. Great question. The dryer can be set to run without a wash. By selecting Timed Dry and selecting your settings, the dryer can run without a wash cycle first. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi Toivok - Thanks for considering GE Model GFQ14ESSNWW! Using a 6 lb. load, a Normal wash cycle is about 11.1 gallons per cycle and a Normal dry cycle is 9.5 gallons per cycle. So about 20.6 gallons total per cycle for a wash and dry cycle. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

A:AnswerI like my unit but you have to get used to it. I live alone which works well since it's small. I have a queen size bed and do my sheets in 2 loads so they dry better. I also hang a lot of my clothes since they're more delicate. I find that if I leave the door open after a load and let the load air a bit it gets remaining dampness out. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI wouldn't think so it's a ventless dryer but the problem with it is that you got to drain every three washes water out of the little door at the bottom in the front or your clothes will never dry that's one of the downfalls that I've ran into
A:AnswerYou've got a little door that pops open on the bottom of the front of the washer you have to pull the hose out and drain it every three washes it holds water if you don't it's going to flood out and your clothes will never dry that's the downfall with this washer dryer combo
A:AnswerIf you put it on some kind of cart you should be able to move it to the sink. You would need a Y adapter for the faucet to match the hose threads.
A:AnswerHi,
Thanks for asking! We appreciate your interest and we'd love to provide you with an answer. We found that this model does come equipped with both fill hoses and a drain hose. The fill hoses are for both the hot and cold water. We hope this information helps. Have a nice day!

A:AnswerYou might need a riser on your drain pipe to avoid overflow when the unit is draining. When draining it will discharge more water than a dishwasher would. It is 110 volts, so the power requirement is OK. Check your dimensions of the cabinet opening closely to make sure it will fit.
A:AnswerHi MAJ! Thanks for your question. We found that you cannot install casters on this unit. We only recommend installing the unit as it is listed in the installation instructions. We're sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. Stay safe. Emily@GEA
