QuestionWith my current model, every time the machine starts to not dry clothes anymore, I have to take off the top and the air flow parts inside to get to the plastic piece that holds the wet lint. Will I have to do the same with this model?

- Answer Hi there - thanks for asking! The normal cycle is approximately 3 hours for a medium/large towel load. Obviously, if the basket is full of clothes, the cycle will be longer. The wash cycle (about 1 hour) is the same as any other front load washer. The dry cycle takes longer due to compromises made to do both functions in the same machine. We recommend loading the drum to a maximum of 2/3 capacity to allow airflow during drying. - Answer Hello- We appreciate your question and are happy to help! This model is connected by connecting the hot and cold water hoses and the drain hose by attaching the u-shaped hose guide to the end of the drain hose. You will place the hose in a laundry tub or standpipe. The drain hose should be secured to the home or adjacent faucet with zip-tie to keep it from coming free during operation. We hope this helps! - Answer Hi - Thank you for your interest in our combination washer/dryer unit. The normal cycle is approximately 3 hours for a medium/large towel load. If the basket is full of clothes, the cycle will be longer. The wash cycle (about 1 hour) which is the same as other front load washers. The dry cycle is longer due to compromises made to do both functions in the same machine at half the voltage of a conventional electric dryer. For best results, we recommend filling the tub about half full to allow adequate room for the clothes to tumble while drying. This unit is particularly helpful for our consumers who have limited space and do not have access to a 220 volt circuit. We do hope you choose GE for your home! Vikki@GEA

- Answer Hi there! We appreciate your interest in our washer and electric dryer combo unit. The unit should be installed in a dry area with a solid surface to rest on. Minimum clearance when installing should have 0" on both sides, 3" in the rear and 1" on the top. Please keep in mind that installing in a cabinet may cause the unit to vibrate more than the norm.
