QuestionDo I need to get a special cable to plug the washer (#GFW148SSMWW) into this dryer?

- Answer This washer comes with standard power cable as well as 2 rubber water intake hoses. Not sure what you mean by "plug this washer into this dryer". A dryer would be a separate machine completely unrelated to the washer and they would not be connected in any way.

QuestionWhat is the spin speed in RPM's and how long is the spin cycle ? Also, how much does it weigh?

- Answer Greetings, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your questions! Front-load washers and many newer top-load washers have a variable speed motor. The variable speed motor adjusts the agitation and spin speeds throughout the cycle based on the cycle selected, the load size, and the amount of torque (resistance) it gets from the load. There is no "fixed" speed for slow or fast speeds. We cannot provide the RPMs (agitate/spin speeds) for our washers. We do not have an average time for the spin cycles on different settings, but we can tell you the drain and spin cycle is 10-12 minutes. This washer weighs about 166 pounds. - Answer Hi there Lily, Thanks so much for reaching out. Great question! Typically, most comforters will fit. As long as the comforter fits below the balance ring and isn't stuffed in the tub tightly. The comforter's thickness and density should be taken into account. Keep in touch. Mike@GEA

QuestionIn the manual it states that "if the washer is paused and the cycle is not restarted within 15 minutes, the current wash cycle will be canceled". When I press "Pause", within 15-20 seconds washer turns OFF and drains the water. Is this an error?

- Answer Hi JM - Thanks for your interest! Most quilts will wash properly in our front load washers as long as it fits behind the washer tub gasket and is not stuffed into the tub tightly. The thickness, density, and overall size of the quilt should be taken in account when deciding whether to wash it in a washer.
