Q: QuestionHow do I turn the temperature on the freezer down. I hit the freezer panel and it shows the temperature and when I hit it again it only goes higher I want it lower than 5 degrees. How do I go lower on the panel?

• A:Answer The temperature decreases by one degree and a tone sounds with each press of the button. Once the lowest temperature is reached (34 degrees for the refrigerator and -6 degrees for the freezer), upon the next button press the temperature will jump to the highest setting (42 degrees for the refrigerator and 6 degrees for the freezer). Additional button presses will continue to lower the temperature by one degree until the desired temperature is reached. To learn more, see the “Changing the Temperature for Control Styles B and C” on page 10 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. • A:Answer Hello there - We hate to hear that your refrigerator's handle is loose and we're happy to help. Tighten the set screws at each end of the handles. Most handles require a 3/32" or 1/8" Allen wrench to tighten. Additional information can be found on page 32 in the owner's manual. We hope that this helps. Q: QuestionDoes the full width drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator have an adjustable stop position? We can barely get our hands inside the drawer to put things in and take things out! We need to be able to pull it out more than a half inch ...

• A:Answer Hello, thank you for your question. There is not an adjustable stop for this refrigerator's full width door and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. If you have just purchased this refrigerator, it was either installed improperly or all the packing tape wasn't removed. If it is not new, we recommend checking to ensure that there's not a food item wedged in such a way that is stopping you from opening the drawer further. Both refrigerator fresh food doors have to be opened to open the full width drawer. Q: QuestionJust purchased the the 36" GE Ft. French Door Refrigerator GFE28GELIDS and the ice maker makes a knocking noise when it is making ice and getting ice build up around seal on right side of freezer. Freezer not over filled w/food. Any suggestions?

Q: QuestionI have a GE Profile PFE28KMKES that is 3 years old. When I open the doors, the lights are all flickering off and on. Very aggravating! Is this something I can fix myself?

Q: QuestionTo the Manufacturer. When we softly close the doors of our new GE Profile Model GE PFE28KMKES they swing back open. We have to slam the doors and this is a real pain. Can the doors be closed without slamming them?

The refrigerator should be firmly positioned on the floor and front raised just enough that the doors close easily when opened less than 90 degrees. At 90 degrees or more, the door will remain still or swing open. • A:Answer Hi Sunshine - Thanks for choosing GE! We are happy to help. To change the temperature, press and release the Freezer or Fridge pad. The display will show the set temperature. To change the temperature, press either the Freezer or Fridge pad until the desired temperature is displayed. When you keep pressing the Fridge or Freezer pad, the temperature setting will go up until it reaches the maximum limit and then starts over at the lowest limit. The ranges for the Fresh food section on most models is 34 F to 42 F; the range for the Freezer section is -6 F to 5 F.
