- Answer Replacing a 27” with another 27” should typically work. Recommend to compare specs of both units. The cabinet space is the important piece. Some minor adjustments to the cabinet may be needed but have it measured to be sure.

QuestionOlder (20+ yrs), GE double-wall built-in oven; top oven stopped working, bottom one works fine. Can JUST the top oven be replaced with a newer model of the same size? Will the controls of the newer upper oven work on the older bottom oven? Thanks.

- Answer Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Double ovens are designed as one model and are wired together. You cannot replace just one of the ovens. You would need to replace the entire double oven. - Answer Hello, thank you for reaching out to us! You should be able to reset your clock by pressing the “Set Clock” pad, then use the number pads to set the time. Press “Set Clock” again to toggle between AM and PM. Press “Start” to save the time. We hope this helps. Best regards – Matthew@GEA

We were able to locate your double oven's model and found it has the following cutout dimensions: 25” - 25-1/4” W x 49 1/2” - 50-1/8" D x 23-1/2’’ Min. D.
