A:AnswerNo, I think it was an extra $20-$30 for them to install it. I did it myself because it was pretty simple to do. But if you're not familiar with hooking up a washing machine or dryer I would recommend having them install it and just see how they hook everything up. I learned the hard way the first time when I moved to a different house.
A:AnswerHello and thank you for reaching out about this amazing washer. We would love to share more about it.
Model GTW335ASNWW has four different water levels to choose from Low to Max. You can also choose Precise Fill so the unit can sense the load size and provide just the right amount of water. As an added bonus, choose Deep Rinse when adding Fabric Softener or just when you want to make sure your clothes are well rinsed. We hope this helps. Keep in touch! - JB
A:AnswerFrom the manual:
Interior of the Washer
Leave the lid open after washing to allow moisture to evaporate. If you want to clean the basket, use a clean soft cloth dampened with liquid detergent; then rinse. (Do not use harsh or gritty cleaners.)
Water Supply Hoses
Hoses connecting washer to faucet should be replaced every 5 years.
A:AnswerHi Robin - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! During the spin cycle, pausing the washer does unlock the lid, but you must wait until the basket has completely coasted down to a stop before the lid unlocks, for safety reasons. Depending upon the speed at which the washer was spinning, when it is paused (and depending on the size of the load being washed), it could take as much as 3 minutes to coast to a stop and then unlock. A:AnswerHello Tammy - Thank you for your interest in this awesome washer. We are happy to help. This washer does not have an internal water heater. The proper water temperature is reached by mixing hot and cold water from the inlet hoses. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your 2016 GE Washer GTW335ASNWW. We are sorry to hear of the unbalanced load issue. This is frustrating, we know. We suggest to make sure the washer is level. For best wash performance adjust all four leveling legs until washer is level left-to-right and front-to-back (clockwise to raise; counterclockwise to lower). A:AnswerHi Mythreesons3 - This washer allows you to manually select Low, Medium, High or Max water levels for maximum cleaning performance. Additional water cannot be added. It also has Precise Fill option. When selected, the washer senses the load size and adds just the right amount of water for the load. See page 8 of the Use and Care Guide- (C) Load Size: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - You can choose the Deep Rinse option to ensure clothes are rinsed free of detergent, fabric softener and stubborn soils. Play Video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/fbkVOdkZJ5E?rel=0 - The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. It is not recommended to manually add more water to the washer. Some models have a Deep Fill option which adds additional water to the wash load, regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill. Keep in touch! Sue
A:AnswerWe actually paid to have it installed by the person that delivers ours. So, so far, no problem on our side. Maybe reach out to them about this? Sorry.
A:AnswerI measured the machine GTW335ASNWW and it's 27 inches wide, 26 inches deep, and 43 inches tall (including the electronic control panel in back). I have another 9 inches from the wall behind the machine for the water intake and drain hoses.
A:AnswerHello Gogo - Thank you for reaching out to us regrading your washer. We can certainly understand your concern about it spraying a small amount of water into the tub after the wash cycle is done and we are glad to assist. With Top Load washers, it is not uncommon to have a small amount of water at the bottom of the wash basket after a load is complete. The amount of water is typically a 1/2 cup of water or less, and is considered normal.
This will occur when water becomes trapped in the fill nozzle (fill tube) at the top of the wash basket after the water shuts off after filling. Often the nozzle doesn't immediately drain all of the remaining water, so after some time (even a few hours later), the water tension holding in the water breaks and the last amount of water is released or spurted from the fill nozzle. It is similar to the small spurt or burst of water that sometimes comes out of a bathroom shower head after the water is turned off.
Thanks for checking! Olga
A:AnswerHi mags- Yes, you can press pause and soak for up to 24 hrs. with the lid closed. To continue the cycle, press Start again. Note: *Machine will automatically drain any time the lid is left open for more than 15 minutes and water is present. *Machine will automatically drain if left in a paused state with the lid closed for more than 24 hours and water is present. Thanks for choosing GE! Sue
