QuestionHaving a real problem with draining. Often, drain & spin cycle does not work. It stays on 9 sec. Sometimes it will add water then just stop. Every 20 loads or so, this happens. I have to drain the bin with a glass. Why?

QuestionIs there a way to bypass the adding cold to hot so it is always lukewarm and towels do not get clean, Can you turn off the cold water when using hot and will that work. Hate the Government telling me I cannot use my own heated hot water!!!! Insane.

- Answer Hi Alwaysme - Starting in 2015, top-load washers feature a lid lock that engages when the washer is either load-sensing or when it is spinning above 50 RPM. The lid does not lock for the entire cycle so you can add items during the cycle. If the lid is locked, simply pause the cycle. This will allow you to open the lid. Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! Sue

When the model is manufactured, the extra number is placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. This number is used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, this is used as an identifier for the specific appliance. - Answer Hi CambridgeHill - Thanks for choosing GE. Add the detergent manufacturer’s recommended amount of detergent as listed on the label based on load size. Use less detergent if you have soft water, a smaller load or a lightly soiled load. HE detergent should be added to the right side of the dispenser drawer.
