A:Answer Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out – we understand your concern over draining, and regret any trouble you’ve had with clothes not getting as dry or the washer becoming out of balance; we know that must have been frustrating. Our washers are designed to drain most of the water from the tub prior to the spin cycle, through the drain pump to the right of the wash basket; some of the water may be drained through the holes in the tub and beneath the agitator. The load being out of balance and/or the clothes too wet might result in the maximum spin speed not being reached, which may be why the water isn’t all extracted. We would recommend rebalancing the load and running a Drain & Spin cycle to make sure all the water spins out. Ensuring the washer isn’t overloaded or underloaded and the unit is level (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed) will help to avoid an out of balance condition as well. We hope this helps, but if the issue continues and you think service may be needed, that department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737. We're always available if you have any other concerns or questions - best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
