A:AnswerHi Prettygirl - Thanks for choosing GE Model JGBS66REKSS! The griddle cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher. Wash the griddle in warm soapy water. Allow it to soak a few minutes, if necessary, to soften stubborn soils.
If needed, a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad can be used to remove cooked on soils. Also, we suggest viewing the Use and Care Manual at the following link for guidance: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-3.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. A:AnswerHi King - Thanks for viewing GE Model JGBS66REKSS! The ange is manufactured globally, not in the U.S. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. A:AnswerNo. The Best Buy team delivered the unit into the kitchen, removed all the packing material, and set it in place. I had to hook up the gas line myself. Every city and state is a little different though, Your state or city may permit the delivery guys to hook up the gas line but not Peoria, Illinois.
A:AnswerHi Deb. Good question. So long as the installation instructions are followed, this unit will fit snuggly in the cutout space. We would recommend checking your installation instructions to make sure that the cutout space dimensions are met for this unit. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.

A:AnswerHi Ajblack - Thanks for choosing GE! The power cord of this gas range has a three-prong (grounding) plug (120V) which plugs into a
standard three-prong grounding wall receptacle to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this appliance. To ensure the performance and safety of the range, we do not recommend reusing the power cord from the previous range. We’d love to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHi LEE - Thanks for choosing GE! The gas connector is not included. It requires a flexible metal appliance connector (1/2" I.D.). A 5 ft. length is recommended.
