A:AnswerHi - There isn't a way to slow down the ice production. Until the bin is full or the icemaker is turned off, the icemaker will continue to make ice. If you would like to turn the icemaker off, look on the side of the body of the icemaker itself for an On/Off switch. If you're having an issue with the icemaker making so much ice that it is overflowing the bin, that may be an indication of an issue with the icemaker.
