  • QuestionIs the power cyclic (On/Off) or variable?

    Asked by Vineyard.

    • Answer This cooktop uses both variable power control and cyclic power control. Induction is able to vary the power level for most of the power outputs but will start to turn the burner on/off to achieve lower power levels. This is an improvement from radiant cooktops, which are only able to turn the full power on/off to achieve power levels less than the max power. Thanks for checking in with us! -Kacie@GEAppliances

  • QuestionCould you please tell me the size of pan the hob will take? ie: 8, 10, 12” ?

    Asked by Rouxby.

    • Answer Hello - For best performance, match the pan size to the element size. Using a smaller pot on a larger burner will generate less power at any given setting. We recommend that you review the diagram on pg. 15 of the owner's manual to see the recommended pan size for each element. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. Kind regards. -Don@GEA
