A:AnswerIf you live in a place where you don't have much space, this washing machine is special for you, it takes up very little space and is super quiet.
A:Answeri would just leave the door open. i do it out of habit.
i would also suggest leaving the soap and softener drawers open when not using the machine. they still have water residue in them.
A:Answerthis machine runs on a standard 110V outlet. it should be a dedicated circuit. if you already use a standard outlet for your washing machine, this will plug into that outlet.
A:Answeryou should be able to use whatever detergent you prefer to use. I do.
as far as affresh tablet, i'm sure you can. i would follow directions for the tablet.
A:Answerthat will vary according to the load sensing. i have had loads from 2 hours to 3, but the longer ones are from me altering the settings. average load is around 2 hours or so.
A:AnswerThere is no need for gas connection. All you need is a 110 volt outlet. It is ventless, and uses an internal heat pump to dry your clothes, so you do not need to use gas.
A:AnswerThis unit will not break down at all. It will not fit thru 24" doorway. The machine is 28" wide across the front. Also, this machine is fairly heavy.
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for your interest in our innovative Profile UltraFast Combo. You are correct in that the door opens to the left and can't be reversed. The door fully opens at a 140° angle and the door itself measures 16.5". The total depth of this unit with the door open is 54 1/2". Also, the width with door fully open (140°) is 45". We hope you find this helpful and that you choose this amazing model for your home. All our best! Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerI would say not stackable due to design. plus it is pretty heavy to the point that you cannot lift it that hi anyway.
Besides, the machine is taller than your average front loader and would be impossible to reach the top machine.
A:AnswerAs long as the power going into the machine is 115v it won’t know the difference. The average wall outlet is attached to over 300,000v through a series of substation transformers, pad mounted transformers and pole mounted residential transformers. It won’t know if you added another. Machine is rated for use at 115v 15A as long as you have 8A available at your 220v SINGLE PHASE supply feeding your transformer you should be good.
A:AnswerThis unit connects absolutly the same way any other washing machine would connect to your hot and cold lines, along with the waste line.
there is no recess for the hoses at the back of the machine.
A:AnswerThick king size comforters/blankets are a challenge with the drying. I recommend half way through the dry cycle to pull out the large article rotate and replace. Even with that you’re still going to have to use multiple dry cycles. In my opinion this is no different than a conventional dryer. Sometimes it is best for very large and thick articles to just take them to the laundromat and use one of their large commercial machines or just hang dry.
A:AnswerNo! I would not recommend that at all. When the machine is working up to full spin speed there is a lot of vibration so I could definitely see this as a huge problem of moving or “walking”. I would highly recommend changing the location of the machine or your main supply valve. Or you could get fancy and get a electronic valve that you could operate with a switch but even at that probably not an ideal option as in emergency situations best to have a mechanical valve with less probability of failure.
A:AnswerJust make sure that your drain waste line is capable of handling the high volume of discharge from the machine and I would recommend every time you operate the machine that your camper/RV is connected to sewer with your grey water tank valve open just so you don’t run into any problems of back up or grey water tank rupture. Also you will need to reinstall the drum stabilizing bolts every time your camper/RV moves as the drum is not designed to be bounced around and damage to the drum will occur.
A:AnswerHi - We appreciate your interest in our amazing Profile UltraFast Combo washer dryer unit. The door is hinged on the left and is not reversible. We offer a 7" riser that can be used with this unit. With the riser, the unit will be approximately 53 7/10" high. This places the bottom of the wash basket approximately 22" off the floor. We understand your concern regarding the ease of the use and will gladly share your comments. At GE Appliances we are incredibly excited about all this new unit offers and hope you are as well. Kind regards – Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerI also did this as well. I highly recommend having a professional certified plumber to put in another set of washer connections as for when the machines are draining simultaneously there will be a very high volume of discharge and you could run into back up/flooding issues if your drain line is not adequate to handle the large volume. Also each machine requires a separate dedicated 20 amp circuit. I also recommend a certified professional electrician to make sure you have a 20 amp circuit for each machine to be able to operate simultaneously.
