We suggest that you check the electrical and water hookups and make sure the water heater is operating correctly. If you are just now having trouble after using it for a year and you are still getting hot water from your sinks, then we would recommend service. Q: QuestionWhat's the difference between the 1 Hour Wash and Light Wash cycles? Which one takes less time?

• A:Answer Hi Judy! Thanks for your question. The Light cycle is for light to medium soiled dishes. It is safe for china and crystal with no options selected and is 55 minutes long. The 1 Hour Wash is 60 minutes long and will quickly wash lightly soiled dishes. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA

• A:Answer I am having problems with it as well, as well as the wheels falling off, and its only a couple of months old. I held the start button for 3 seconds to cancel the cycle, then I push the start button again and it locks. I think that opening it mid cycle causes problems also.

Q: QuestionHow do you load the third rack, just lay the flatware on top? There are a multitude of notches, do you place the knives, etc. perpendicular to the rack, in the slots?

For the most effective cleaning, we do suggest using the notches to separate your flatware. Q: QuestionThe clearance between our counter and subfloor is 33-3/8” (once in place will have more clearance since hardwood doesn’t extend beyond cabinets). Will this be able to clear that space? Really don’t want to get the ADA model if I don’t have to! Thank you!

The stainless and fingerprint resistant stainless are the same and not much difference will be noticed. • A:Answer I paid for installation and an install kit. The GE was my second choice, but I chose it because it has an open bottom and could be installed in any situation. If you currently have a dishwasher it should be no problem installing another one in the same spot.

• A:Answer We have this model. We had Servpro out yesterday and filed a claim against our homeowner's insurance. The GE service man informed us the dishwasher's pump was broken. The damage to our flooring is in two rooms and is visible from the crawlspace. Ours is not yet three years old. I question whether an internal sensor would have prevented our damage. I don't know why they don't have a pan underneath the dishwasher with a sensor for when water accrues in the pan.
