- Answer The company provided routers are usually not as good and are glitchy. I bought the mesh system and turned off the company provided router years ago and have absolutely no complaints.

- Answer Yes, it does. You can set up any Google Wifi Point as your primary point or base unit, and set up the other Google Wifi Points as your secondary child points or satellite units. - Answer There is no reason why it shouldn't. This is just a wifi router so as long as your modem is connected to the internet you should be good to go. Just run the Ethernet cable from the modem into the router.

- Answer I have four of these. At least one of them must be connected to the modem. So, if you are asking if this can be used to expand your mesh network, then the answer is yes.

Only the Nest Wifi point has a built-in microphone or speaker with Google Assistant The Google Wifi doesn't have a speaker or Google Assistant, and it won’t be able to answer questions you ask Google or respond to voice commands itself. But you can still use Google Assistant on your smart display, speaker, or phone to tell Google Wifi to do things like pause the Wi-Fi on your devices or check your internet speed.
