- Answer Yes, I avoided verizon because of their markups. But it's the same exact phone. I am a Verizon customer (unfortunately) and the phone works fine. Best Buy programmed it for me.

- Answer If you bought it under the 2 year contract, then there's not much you can do. If you are making payments on the Edge plan, you usually need to have half of the phone paid off before they'll trade it out. Check your account online and look under devices. It should tell you your upgrade options.

- Answer I believe this is due to the fact BB has to partner with Verizon due to the Verizon/Google partnership. Verizon buys from Google, BestBuy buys from Verizon, you buy from BestBuy. Everyone needs to make some margin...

- Answer the only one that comes unlocked is the one from the Google store. The one best buy has is locked to their network.

- Answer If you have a T-Mobile nano-SIM it should work no problem. Punch in the APN settings after installing the SIM card and you are good to go.

- Answer No. Best Buy offers a free $100 gift card that you could use toward a VR set, but does not come with a voucher for a Daydream VR headset.

- Answer Yes, absolutely. Any apps you can get on another Android phone will be available on this one. There are exceptions though for apps that only work on particular devices (i.e. a remote app will only work on phones that have an IR sensor).

QuestionI'm have AT&T but plan on ordering through Best Buy because of $100 gift card. Why is it not showing up in my cart but Chromecast is? Do you have to activated it through Verizon to get the gift card?

- Answer This may not answer your question, but here's what I experienced. I saw on-line that I would get a $100 dollar gift card and a Chromecast with my Pixel purchase. I went to Best Buy expecting my order to be placed on backorder only to find that they had some of the phones in stock. White only, and only with 32gb of storage. I decided to purchase the Pixel then and there, and received a $100 Best Buy gift card. When I asked about the Chromecast, I was told that the Chromecast was only available to people who pre-ordered it. I wasn't too disappointed since I already had two ChromeCast devices at home.

- Answer Only completely unlocked from Google, Verizon version works on all the carriers same as Google version. Verizon has locked bootloader Google unlocked loader. Also OS updates come from Verizon on their phone and from Google on the non Verizon version. Security updates all from Google.
