• A:Answer The Floaty does not add any waterproofing to the cameras. It's designed to keep it afloat while in use around water in case you lose hold of it. However, all of the cameras that this Floaty can be used with are already waterproof on their own down to 33 feet, so you can take underwater photos or videos with them whether you also use the Floaty or not.

Q: QuestionCan this be used with either the head or chest mount ?

• A:Answer When used with the Floaty, the GoPro can definitely connect to those mounts, but the range of movement may be limited some so you can't angle the camera exactly as you'd like. If that's the case, there are extension arms and quick-release mounts that raise the GoPro further off of the mount that should give you more room to make adjustments.

• A:Answer The HERO6 Black is a slightly different shape and size than the HERO9 Black and later cameras, so it will not fit into this specific Floaty. However, there is a Floaty designed to fit the HERO6 Black.

Q: QuestionMy gopro hero 13 black is new and works great. I put this floaty on and the orientation changes upside down and backwards. It will do vertical but that's it. The camera works normally once I remove it from this floaty. Any clue what's up with that?

• A:Answer That's odd. Maybe you're accidentally pressing the screen and hitting the orientation settings while you're putting the camera in the Floaty. If you can reset the orientation settings from the menu once the camera is in the Floaty, that may take care of this for you.

• A:Answer When the camera is in the protective housing, it will not be able to fit into the Floaty. If you want to add floatation while using the protective housing, a mount like the GoPro Handler would be a great option.
