A:Answer As a practical answer, I would not trust just the camera to go underwater at all based on these numbers. This rating reads very much like it's good against some splashing and getting rained on. After all, how do you know how deep you are underwater? (Unless you are diving with a guage, in which case, invest in the waterproof housing)
