- Answer This adds lighting behind a TV set to help make the contrast better and it works. The internet has lots of links proving this benefits the viewer. My wife hates watching movies in the dark but any other lights are too bright and distracting, not so with this bias lighting.

- Answer We installed on a 75" Sony. You choose different patterns to apply the LED strip based upon the size of the TV. In this case, you place across the top and down each side about 2/3rds of the total distance. Since out TV is wall mounted and floats about 12' above an entertainment center, you don't notice the lack of direct light along the bottom edge of the TV. Not sure if it would be more noticeable if the set was mounted higher (like over a fireplace).
