I have a sound bar hooked into mine via the optical cord. Minor lag.
When using Bluetooth connection same, minor lag. If I'm watching a football game it might stutter for a second or two every 10-15 mins but nothing to make you want to throw your TV away for. There are better sounding sets but this isn't bottom of the barrel in that aspect. Tv speakers hold up but I like theatre sound so I use my sound bar. Hope this helps
