- Answer Kezi, Tap settings, then tap the down arrow until preferences can be seen, tap preferences, then locate the backlight option. Under this option, you can choose the backlight setting in rest mode. Meaning, the screen will full bright when touched, and after a delay will tike out to your preset backlight setting Hope this helps!

- Answer You may end up buying and installing C Wire Adapter for Thermostats 24 Volt Transformer Compatible with Nest Honeywell Ecobee Emerson Sensi Smart Wifi Thermostat . And no its not to simple. Best buy won't tell you that nor Honeywell. Go to you tube and watch how to install it. If you already have 24v C wire the it should take you about 15 minutes max. If you don't about 1 to 3 hours

QuestionI bought this thermostat about a month ago but installed it 2 days ago. It turns off black screen the restarts again. And it’s so hot 76 since it turns on and off it won’t cool. Do i need to return it? This was not cheap.

- Answer Recheck the wiring. Sounds like your power line is loose either at furnace board or the thermostat

QuestionI’m replacing a heat pump with W, B, G, R, O and Y on old T874R1749 anyone know how to wire this on new thermostat? Note O and Y both have yellow wire can’t tell if jumpered or not

- Answer It should, o and b are your reversing valve for the heat pump, however I did not see anything about a c, for the best operation it should have c hooked up as well. It actually wont work without the c wire.

- Answer Have you checked the wires at the unit itself? Make sure that the C wire is connected on the c terminal at the unit. I had this same problem and found that this was the issue.

QuestionDoes this thermostat have the capability to control A/C and heating at the same time. In other words, can it switch from A/C to heating and heating to A/C automatically depending on what is required to reach and maintain the set temperature.

- Answer Not getting a good 24V source, you may have to run new thermostat wire to the indoor unit like I had to do.
