Q: QuestionI have a person in my home who cranks the heat up (constantly) to 79 degrees. This temperature is unbearable plus costly as it is a large two-storied home. It what ways can this thermostat help? Desperate.

• A:Answer I had same problem after installing my Honeywell I set a schedule that was energy saving yet still comfortable and then was able to lock it with an access code to prevent changes and it is easy to monitor via phone app or Alexa and Google home

• A:Answer Yes, it will still work. Wifi hookup is an option. You will not get some of the features this unit has to offer. If you are not using the Wifi you should save some money and get a different thermostat, one without Wifi.
