A:AnswerHi Charlotte, We're sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Curise, and want to help. When plugging the charger into the unit make sure your vacuum is switched off. If not, it will turn on when plugging the charger in. If this is not the simple fix, please reach out to our Cordless Customer Service team at 1-888-679-2121, or message us on Facebook. We hope this helps. - Jenna
A:AnswerHi Dominic! It is perfectly safe to leave the battery on the charger and it will not degrade the battery life to do so. The charger was designed assuming that some users may want to store their battery on the charger long term. Thanks! Jenna
A:AnswerHi Morswa! When the battery is charging the light should be flashing red. When the battery is fully charged it will be a continuous green light. This can also be found in the product manual linked here: http://tti.a.bigcontent.io/v1/static/BH52210_Hoover_User_Manual.
A:AnswerHi Callchuck, Hm that doesn't sound right. Could you let us know if you are hearing the buzzing noise from the battery itself or the charger? This will help us locate what is going on. You can message us on Facebook, if that is easier, at Hoover Vacuums North America. Thanks! Jenna
A:AnswerWhen i charged mine its red. Means charging. I guess blue means fully charged. But after u use it and charged it and the red never turns on. There something wrong. Might as well exchange it
A:AnswerNo. I keep mine plugged in when its not in use. It vacuums my 2500 sf home and probably has plenty of power left. I then plug it back in to charge until I use it again. If it's not being used, it's charging. I use every few days (we have dogs and cats ) I LOVE it and and getting my mom one as well!
A:AnswerHi Jayne, Oh no, that doesn’t sound too good. We want to help. This sounds like something our service technicians may need to take a look at. Your model has a limited manufacturer’s warranty that covers any manufacturing defects at no cost to you. To find your local service center, please go here: http://hoover.com/locator/. Hope this helps! Doug, Hoover Customer Care
A:AnswerReturn it to the store per their policy. Then purchase a new one. It's possibly defective. Hold onto your receipt if you purchase another one and your vacuum should be under warranty if it also stops working after the expiration of the best buy return period.
A:AnswerHi Joeh! Unfortunately we don't have an eta on the batteries at this time. However the 2 year warranty does cover the battery. If you're having issues please feel free to reach out to us via Facebook, tweet us @HooverUSA, or simply give us a call at 1-800-944-9200. We look forward to hearing from you! ~Kenya, Hoover Customer Care
