Q: QuestionClothes end off balance at end of wash cycle and will nit spin and clothes are wet. Will not rinse nd spin.

• A:Answer We’d like to assist with your washer’s out of balance occurrences. It’s extremely important that the washer is properly leveled and all 4 leveling legs are firmly on an even floor space. This will help to reduce out of balance occurrences during the cycle. Additionally, it’s important that the tub is loaded evenly, with the weight of the load equally distributed. Unbalanced loads can cause out of balance occurrences. You can find instructions on proper loading, leveling, and additional troubleshooting at the article titled “Top Load Washer – Wet Clothes Concerns” on our GE Appliances website.

Q: QuestionAre you supposed to remove foam that keep drum from moving

Q: QuestionMy GE Hotpoint washer just went out after 32yrs. I could push the button to stop the wash or lift the lid. Does this model have a way to let me soak my whites like I have always done. I would like to have the option to soak. Thanks for your follow-up

• A:Answer After the washer has stopped filling, press the Start/Pause pad to pause the cycle. The washer will remain in pause allowing you to soak the wash load for up to 24 hours (providing the lid remains closed). To complete the cycle, press the Start/Pause pad again. If not restarted before the 24-hour time limit is up or if the washer lid is left open for 15 minutes, the washer will automatically cancel the cycle and drain the tub.

• A:Answer The HTW265ASWWW washer has a soak indicator but not a soak button. The auto soak feature is part of most of the cycles that are offered by this unit. We recommend you review the "Wash Cycles" section on pg. 11 of the Owner's Manual.
