Q: QuestionHi, I'd like to get pedestal for this dryer so elderly mom doesn't have to bend down low. But I'm having trouble with the dimensions: compared to universal pedestals available it seems very deep. What are the dimensions for the feet only? Thanks

• A:Answer Hi there, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question! Top-load washers and top-load matching dryers (like the HTX24EASKWS) are not designed to be attached to a pedestal. This requires the legs be removed and special brackets used to attach the dryer to the pedestal. Pedestals are designed to be used with front-load washers and front-load matching dryers; and even with those the pedestal is model specific. This dryer is not designed for a pedestal, nor are they UL approved for this installation. We hope this helps! Mike@GEA
