QuestionI purchased Word a long time ago. It had a disk but also a digital code where I could download onto my PC. That PC is no longer operating. Can I download that version of Word on this laptop and use it?

- Answer Any version of Microsoft Word (except maybe a really old DOS based version) should work on this Windows based laptop.

- Answer Yes, but you would have to use or buy an external DVD player. Best Buy sells them for about $20 to $30. I bought an LG external DVD player from Best Buy and it works fine.
