A:AnswerI don't know how it works, but it does work, and quite well using my new HP Officejet 4155. I was in a hurry, needed to fax something, so tried it. The first message was that faxing was free for 24 months. I found later that 30 days prior to the end of the period, I'll be contacted to renew or pay. The process was easy to follow, worked quickly, and I was able to print a report showing the date/time it was transmitted and received. Since I'm not hooked up to a landline, I assume it is transmitted through the internet.
A:AnswerThanks for your question. HP has decided to use the HP Smart app to set up most new printers. It is a simple process usually 1 minute or so with a smartphone/tablet or 3 - 5 minutes with a PC (to download the drivers). After setup, you can print to the printer with a standard USB printer cable.
A:AnswerNo it was very easy because I had my modem carrier for my fiber optic line and new modem. I only needed to add the Admin User ID and Admin password i got from my carrier when the added the fiber optic line and new modem.
You can also use a USB port with USB cord.
