A:AnswerI would assume your software would work, because I am using programs like Autodesk Inventor which is a big and complex, engineering program, and it runs perfectly fine on this laptop. Hope that helps!
A:AnswerYes, brand new laptop box is sealed while the open box which is cheaper or less expensive, the box seal is broken. You can trust Best Buy when they advertised the item as brand new or open box or refurbished. It will not be a good business practice to give you an item less than what you paid for........
A:AnswerThe speakers are located on the left and right sides of the grille. The sound is coming through the grille but you can hear the sound from the bottom as well.
A:AnswerGraphics card upgraded? - No. This is a graphics CO PROCESSOR -- aka a small cheeze-it cracker sized thing attacked to the motherboard and only removable with a very expensive machine... it has dedicated RAM - but the actual 'graphics control panel' will be the INTEL version - because this is not truly a dedicated graphics card... it is NOT an MXM style connector that allows you to easily remove and upgrade...
So any game -or thing that you use - will go through the intel graphics control panel then to the nvidia Co Processor - then back through the intel graphics and finally out through yoru HDMI or onto your screen.
I have no clue about the memory; it comes with 16gb; expandability I have no clue

A:AnswerDescription said 3 cells.
One of the posters here said it's a tiny thing...
Good Question.
I'm still wondering if it's upgradeable to a 4 or 6 cell...?
A:AnswerGood question. The laptop meets the recommended requirements for the game so it should run smoothly. The laptop has a dedicated graphics card, a great processor, and lots of RAM.

A:AnswerGood question. You will be able to play GTA5 and Just Cause 3 on this laptop.
Here are the system requirements for GTA5:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1.
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)
Memory: 8GB.
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB.
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible.
HDD Space: 65GB.
DVD Drive.
Here are the system requirements for Just Cause 3:
OS: Windows Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit operating system)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8GHz 2.93GHz or AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz.
RAM: 6GB.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 (2GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB)
DX: DirectX 11.
HDD: 45GB.
You have plenty of hard drive space and RAM. The Core i7 processor in this laptop is better than the required Core i5. The graphics card the laptop comes with is Nvidia GeFore 940M. It could be better, but it will definitely run the game.
I hope this helps!
A:AnswerGood question. You will not be able to upgrade the processor on this laptop. Laptop motherboards are generally only compatible with a very specific set of processors. When it comes to replacing laptop motherboards, you're limited to replacing it with an identical motherboard from the same make/model because all of the ports and outputs are connected directly to the board, and their placement/design is specific to the model of laptop you have.
I hope this helps.
