- Answer I am sorry for the issues you are having with your HP Envy 2-in-1 out of the box. Your best resource would be HP Support directly as they have the expertise to look into why your laptop is heating up under low loads and your battery life is nowhere near the benchmark time.

- Answer You are confusing Safe Mode with S Mode. "Safe Mode" is a diagnostic tool to troubleshoot Windows problems by booting with minimal drivers and services, while "S Mode" is a version of Windows that restricts app installation to only those from the Microsoft Store, enhancing security and performance. Any Windows computer can be booted into Safe Mode for diagnostic purposes, while computers in S Mode are purchased that way (or you can change the computer to it, via changes to the Registry). S Mode is only applicable to Windows Home versions of the operating system, while Safe Mode can be used with either Home or Professional versions of the software.

- Answer Mine did not come with one but I did find one on Amazon for $20 - I hope this helps ! I’m not sure if best buy sells them but you can check it out and see if you can get one here as to keep it all in the same cart for convenience, I know some people don’t like multiple deliveries so that’s always an option too. :)
