- Answer Wifi cards for laptops are typically designed for fitting a specific motherboard/chassis combination. A qualcomm wifi card probably will not fit.

- Answer It weighs 5lbs. It's slightly heavier than my plastic laptop. I like it. It's very sleek. When I first opened it, I definitely knew it had a little more weight to it, however, if your carrying more on your back than the laptop, you may want to figure in the 5lbs.

- Answer Funny, I also started getting poor text quality after upgrading to the corrected AMD driver. I attributed my issue to having quit a Remote Session chat (with HP tech support) without properly logging off, because the problem went away when I started a new session and logged off the right way. Now I wonder if it was something else. Have you checked the box for Cleartype? Anyway on my unit the the text is back to normal, hope yours gets fixed too.
