Q: QuestionCan this be setup & web GUI managed for use on an internal network, without needing a HP account or online connection to HP? Or is it just like the 4101fdwe that requires a HP account during setup?
Asked by DancingMonkey.
- A:Answer Thank you for the question. Yes. But if you intend to avail yourself of the HP+ offers, you'll need an HP account, and the printer must be kept online so that HP can ping it to check ink levels. The HP account is so that they know where to send the ink, and for how many pages of toner/ink you've enrolled.
