QuestionPlease explain the toner tank system and how it is different than toner that one finds in other printers.

- Answer Basically, a toner tank stays in the printer and you occasionally need to refill it with toner. In that way, it's kind of like the gas tank in a car-it's permanently in there and you just refill it as needed. With other laser printers, the toner cartridge itself can be removed and replaced when it's empty.

- Answer Yes but good luck on finding a device driver that supports it. There was hundreds of HP device drivers but none supported the faxing and scanning. Plus for the high dollar price the printer is built about as cheap as you could make it. I was totally let down with HP's quality and approach of selling garbage at a over inflated price since they used to have a name in the printer industry..

- Answer The LaserJet Tank 2604sdw printer uses the 153A and 153X toners. The 153A is $16.99 and yields up to 2,500 pages and the 153X is $27.99 and yields up to 5,000 pages.

- Answer Hello Mick and thanks for asking. Once you connect the HP LaserJet Tank 2604sdw to your wireless network, you can print to it via AirPrint with an iPhone or other Apple product as it is AirPrint compatible.

- Answer I’m pretty sure it does but can’t say w certainty since I no longer have this printer. As I recall the front door on the paper drawer folds down and out and you slip your legal paper in.

QuestionA lot of the scanning that I need to do are 2-3 carbon copy pages. Will the ADF feed these through with no problem or will it jam since it's trying to scan a page that has multiple copies attached?

- Answer We don't ever recommend scanning multipart forms through the document feeder-both for the thickness of some of the individual pages in the forms and the overall thickness of multi-part forms. You can still scan them with the flatbed glass.

- Answer No, I don't think you can feed anything but 8.5, I had a Brother MFC series printer that was over 5 years old, and this offered less than that, me thinking if I purchased a HP I would be getting a better printer, only to realize I down graded but paid more just for that name.
