- Answer From my experience, you need to download the HP Scan application to your Mac. From there, you control scanning. You open he application, click "Scan" and it searched for the printer. As long as you can print and you're connected to your wireless network, everything should be fine.

- Answer Yes it can print in only B/W even when there is a color cartridge as long as there is ink in the B/W cartridge. Just select Black/White or even grayscale in some models when you configure it that way in the printer settings.

- Answer There is a separate tray that you can load different size paper into without having to change the paper in the drawer. Really nice option
