A:AnswerThird-party cartridges have a 30% failure rate and are not recommended. For a better low-cost printing option, we recommend HP Instant Ink, available for as little as $2.99/mo for up to 50 pages/photos per month. This works out to $36/year (less than half the price of one set of HP cartridges) and you don't pay for the amount of ink or cartridges used.
A:AnswerThey might work if you keep the printer off line, but as soon as its connected to the internet it sends information to HP. That would mean you'd be unable to check ink levels, etc., unless you're connected.
A:AnswerI’m not familiar withMIFI but this is a network printer. It connects to your wireless router not the internet. I also control it with an app on my iPhone. Great little printer.
A:AnswerYou do not need special paper for this printer; any old printer paper from Office Depot, CVS, Walgreens, just about anywhere, will work. HP should continue to make cartridges for this printer for years, plus the HP Instant Ink program in which they mail print cartridges to you when the printer gets low on ink is very convenient and reasonably priced, about 3-5 dollars a month.
A:AnswerWe don't recommend using third-party ink systems with HP printers, since genuine HP ink is the only formulation designed to work with the printer. Off-brand inks can cause poor print quality, or in worst case scenario, damage the printer.
You can save money on ink by using HP Instant Ink, which doesn't charge you for the ink but only the number of pages you print. If you print less than 50 pages a month, the program will only cost you $2.99/mo, or $36/year.
A:AnswerIt can connect to your home network wirelessly, or via a wire Ethernet cable from the back of the printer to an ethernet connection on your home network router.
A:AnswerTo connect and print wirelessly, you'll want to connect your printer to your home internet network. Any other connected devices on that network would then be able to access the printer.
A:AnswerIt probably is compatible. I can't say for sure since I am just a random guy on the internet and I only have Windows and Linux machines at home. If you buy it and your computer or the software that came with the printer can't find the right driver you can always return it and get a refund.
A:AnswerThe full specs and paper handling for the printer are located here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05061732 110lb paper should be no issue.
A:AnswerAccording to BestBuy's own page:
225-sheet input tray
With 60-sheet output tray. The 35-page auto document feeder enables quick paper reloading.
So, I assume you are looking for one of the numbers above. The input tray is where the printer takes paper that it uses for printing, the output is where it outputs the printed page(s) and the auto document feeder is used for scanning papers mostly I think.
A:AnswerI've had similar problems with connectivity. However, this seems related to only my desktop computer. My son has a Mac laptop and prints remotely on my Hp printer without issue. I think my problem is more with Google Chrome than the hardware.
