A:AnswerYou must use a land line to fax with the printer. The good news is, is that there are several E-fax softwares available online. These programs allow you to use a scanned image and send it similar to a tradition fax. The software is often available at a very low cost, either paying by month or on a yearly basis. I hope this helped you.
A:AnswerWhen I bought mine it wouldn't recognize the color cartridge. I even went to HP's website and followed all their procedures on cleaning and installing (it would print using only the black cart, but color was my main reason for buying it). I gave up and returned it for the same model and that one's been fine.
A:AnswerDo not connect printer through your wifi. Go to your printer settings, click on add devices and it should be able to find the printer and click connect once connected your able to print as you would with a regular printer without having to disconnect your wifi

A:AnswerNever us e and off-brand. Only buy what is made for your printer - even the ones that are refilled by your favorite box store. They gum up and will ruin your printer. I tried it and got the same message. Printer went to the recycler. Couldn't use it any more.
A:AnswerIt depends on the printer itself. If your printer is not an AirPrint printer, you can always look for a printer app that supports it in the App Store.

A:AnswerFirst make sure you are connected to the internet and just insert the CD that came with it to your computer and follow the instructions. Also complete the set up process from the little screen in the printer. Make sure you also set up the wireless feature from the printer by entering your router key-phrase number. After this your computer should detect the printer and continue the set up process.
A:AnswerYes it does do auto-alignment. However, it only takes a couple minutes and prints a single page that you then put on the scanner for the device to read and align itself from.
A:AnswerNo, unfortunately this does not have the capabilities to work for remote printing. The only capability this this HP Printer has with printing wirelessly is to enable printing via HP ePrint.
