QuestionHello! Current Cybersecurity and computer science student! I work with virtual machines and Linux for school! Would you recommend I get this laptop? My current one has a poor processing chip and my VM crash a lot. Also how long would this last me?

- Answer CS Student here. I use Linux as a main OS but I always have a dual boot with Windows just in case and it works perfectly. I was super happy with the performance. As I said, I am also a student, and is not the most convenient laptop to carry around, but I am speaking from the perspective of someone who doesn't play video games. Maybe the size and the weight of both laptop and charger is a price that you are willing to pay in order to play video games.

- Answer I won't make it worse in a couple of months, but doing that get the battery worse in every laptop not just in this one

QuestionI see from the current questions and answers that the memory is split between 2 8gb sticks and is upgradeable to 32gb. Are both sticks replaceable or is one soldered on? (Trying to determine if I should by 2 16gb sticks or just 1) Thanks!

- Answer Both are replaceable, nothing soldered. One of the first things i did when buying was ordering 2 x 16gb, works a charm.

- Answer I did not see any mention of G sync (it still may have it) however it does do very well with the games that I play. I play rust, and a few FPS ganes and have no issues at all

- Answer Thank you for the question. the laptop does not have to be fully charged to set up, and can be used while charging. This laptop supports fast charge, approximately 50% in 30.

QuestionI normally prefer a single color light for the keyboard back light. Is the backlight RGB or a solid color? My assumption is RGB. If so, Can I change the backlight so it is a solid white?
