Life expectancy of any new PC is about 6 months since it loses initial value quickly. Today worth $1,000 and in 6 months worth $800 and 1 year later worth $600 and 2 years worth $400 and 3 years worth $200 after 4 years it is worthless. Okay .. Life expectancy has many variables. How often is it used and by whom? Will there be Over Clocking of the CPU, memory and GPU as stress, heat will affect the life of these components. No one knows for sure as much depends on quality of the parts. Like anything, you take care of it, it will last much longer. Most PC's last 4 to 8 years but after 5 years or maybe a bit sooner, technology has changed enough it'll be time to get a new PC.
