• A:Answer This model does not have the ability to be preconfigured with different RAM options. You would have to purchase the additional RAM and have the Geek Squad install it for you. For any promotional questions I recommend reaching out to the company that is managing the promotion to find out about eligibility.

Q: QuestionI need an audio optical out to connect to my external DAC and this model doesn't have an optical out. Any suggestions on what type of audio card that I can add to accomplish this, and is there an available internal slot to install it? What card is best?

Q: QuestionCan an SD card reader be added? Also, If I have two monitors do I just need 2 DVI cables or what to use them both? Does it have HDMI ports ?

• A:Answer This computer does not have a built in SD card reader so, you would need to purchase an external reader. No problem with 4 "Super Speed" USB ports in the back and 2 more on top. As far as video, I see a DVI connector and two HDMI ports. Seems likely you can run two monitors but since I am not running two, I cannot tell you with absolute certainty. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI want to upgrade the SSD. The specs for the Edoras motherboard say the M2 slot has an "M" key/PCIe X4. The current SSD is a WDC SN520, which is X2 /"M+B" key. Seems like a contradiction? Can anyone suggest a 1TB SSD that is compatible this Obelisk?

• A:Answer This PC has two hard drives - a 256GB NVMe solid state drive that has the operating system and space for a few programs that you want to load very quickly, and a 1TB spinning 7200 rpm classic hard drive. It does not have any drives for optical discs, or for floppy disks. If you want a drive like that you will need to purchase a USB external drive and connect it to this PC.

Q: QuestionWhat is/are the optical drive(s), case, and cooling fans that this computer has? I would like the specific model.

• A:Answer I bought one of these in Feb 2020 because I like the specs. I am not a gamer but I process RAW lilies that are 95 MB each. I did not realize this unit has no optical drives and no place to add them. It also has no card slots at all. The keyboard is frustrating for people with large hands. The number pad and arrow/ page/insert keys are not separated from the QWERTY keys. See photo. Again, if this doesn't bother you that is ok, as long as you know before you buy. I would give it 5 stars for speed but only 1 star for other features, or lack there of.
