A:AnswerI would recommend that you ask the third-party seller this question. Some third-party sellers could state that most or all of the laptops they sell are *NEW* even if they change things (the specs) on it prior to shipping it to you, thus potentially voiding the warranty from the manufacturer. I would, personally, never buy something like a laptop from a third-party seller. I would highly recommend that you read the reviews of not only the laptop, but also the seller on any/all platforms or even check with the Better Business Bureau. Some platforms may not be truthful with the stars received on third-party sellers’ charts and you have to read the actual reviews they received. Some of them might have been crossed off and not counted in the star charts correctly. Good luck if you do, but know that you can be risking losing every penny you paid for the laptop and still end up with nothing or with a much lesser model than the one you paid for. Be very careful when dealing with third-party sellers!
A:AnswerIt is my understanding that this laptop can be upgraded to Windows 11 Pro by paying $100 more and having the Geek Squad set it up prior to shipping, but I don’t know how to make that happen at this point. I would need to do the same thing.
A:AnswerYes, it comes with a TEMPORARY license for Office. After the trial period (30 days I believe), you have to buy the software subscription, or go third party like I did (try Groupon and use licensechoiceDOTcom like I did... Much cheaper than MS, & you get to pay a 1-time fee and you own it.
