- Answer It's best to stick with 4800mhz. There is no benefit to a faster speed(it can't go faster than 4800), and it can even cause problems. Runs great with 2x16gb sticks.

- Answer You should be good if you get a stick of 8gb ddr5 ram (laptop-sized stick) for the second RAM slot to bring your total to 16gb ddr5 ram. Once you do this you can likely run modded ff14 with reasonable performance.

- Answer No. It cannot take a 2.5 sata drive. I have watched that same Toasty Bros video and they are mistaken. There is only one nvme slot for storage in this laptop. That extra space they mention is there to accomodate a larger battery.

- Answer As noted by HP, their SSD has a speed of 3500MB. If you search, you will find slower, and faster, speeds. When it comes to storage (as opposed to RAM), the speed is not a crucial factor as far as compatibility goes, so you can feel comfortable getting a drive with the best specs (and higher price) you can find. Speed on drives is always improving, and will (mostly) always be backwards compatible with the motherboard (although the connector may change. For example, the Crucial T705 consumer M.2 solid-state drive (SSD) has read and write speeds: of 14,500 MB/sec and 12,500 MB/sec., respectively. This is twice as fast as the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSD. However, it uses a PCI Express 5.0 bus type, with NVMe support. It is also very expensive and requires a motherboard that supports Gen 5.
