- Answer You need connect an usb-c power adapter to this device, and then connect this device to your laptop. That will charge your laptop. It does not come with an usb-c power adapter. Many new laptops come with an usb-c power adapter.

- Answer Sorry to say it does not support display + charging at the same time. The USB-C port is only for PD (power delivery)
