QuestionI am using this with Xbox one. I am getting some white noise when I plug it in to my controller and play fortnite. Any suggestions as to why and if I should bring it back and get a different one. Ty

- Answer I’m using it on Xbox and playing Fortnite and have no white noise. Try a friends controller to see if it’s the headset or If you can try over a friends house with their controller to remove possible problems with your system. If still making noise, take it back and get another one. Good luck

- Answer Mine echoes despite the volume adjustments. This is an issue with this generation of HyperX Alpha headsets. With a little luck, and a lot of tweaking here and there (to offset what Windows does), you can stop the echo or reduce noise, but it's a recurrent (albeit seemingly random) problem.

- Answer The headphones sound great and better than most other gaming headphones. These headphones have a Combo headphone + michrophone 3.5mm Cable so they should work with anything that has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

- Answer I know this is a few months down the road, but I have the exact same problem with these headphones and the mic. Google them really quick and you'll see how big an issue the feedback is with this generation.

QuestionDo all of these features work on PS4? I was told at Best Buy that the toggle that controls the game and chat volume would not work.

- Answer the control only adjusts master volume. It will raise game chat and voice chat together. It does not allow you to raise one while lowering the other. The toggle will work with PS4 however it is not up to snuff with models in the same price range with better features. Just get the Sony gold or platinum while they are on sale

- Answer No just a splitter cable for PC users that have the green and pink stereo and mic connectors but Best buy has a new alpha ( S ) that has usb connection for pc

- Answer Dolby Atmos is better but there’s also a free Windows Sonic option that is just as good in my opinion. Both Dolby Atmos give much better 3D sound than stereo to help hear not just around you but above and below too

- Answer Yes, you can mute the mic with the In-line audio control that connects directly to your Xbox one controller.. I use Xbox one and use the mic mute
