- Answer It should. I have a Galaxy S9 encased in an Otterbox Defender Pro and another S9 in an Otterbox Symmetry. Both phones charge just fine with the insignia charger. In fact the packaging states the it "Works with Samsung".

- Answer Yes, the port on my phone is broken and I've been using the wireless charger. It has been working great. Also, I throw it in my bag and take it with me if I plan on being out and about all day. I plug the wireless into my portable charger and just lay my phone on it wherever I am.
