- Answer I had to think about this question for a minute. At first I was thinking: it's an INDOOR appliance so why would you NOT be able to use it indoors. Then it occurred to me... the only issue you could possibly have is if you don't have much roof overhang over your window and you have lots of wind with your rain, there might be some issue with the driven rain. In that case you'd just have to pull the panel out of the window and close the window. In normal conditions there should be no issue.

- Answer Hello Sandy, NS-AC08PWH1 weigh (8,000 BTU): 68.1 lbs (30.9 kg). That means that you do not want the same flow of air into each room, but the quantity of air that each room requires. That sunny south facing room needs less heating air than a colder north facing room -- but during air conditioning it requires more cooling than that cooler north facing room.
