Not really, I would say it is kept cool being inside of the machine next to where the ice is being made. Once the ice is made, it slides into the ice basket. The machine is made so that as the ice slowly melts in the basket, it drips into the water reservoir below. Last night I had a full basket and about 10 hours later there was only a few small pieces of ice left in the bottom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The ice near the bottom of the storage basket slowly melts into the reservoir and is then remade into new ice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you need to bag and place in freezer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it doesn't keep it frozen. It does a fair job of keeping it from melting,it is insulated.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not keep it below freezing so it will melt. However even on a summer weekend at the lake it always had ice. The melt is very slow and it turns the water that melts away back into ice. Bought the smaller one last year for the lake but used it all winter at our residence so now being about lake time we bought this larger one for the lake. Get this and He two year geek squad Warrenty. They go on sell severa times a year!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ice melts throughout the day :/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ice does start to melt but very slowly and the water drains back down so it is refrozen. I empty the bin into a plastic bag and dump it into my freezer bin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The basket holds the ice and it stays fairly frozen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, begins melting right away back into the water reserve
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
