- Answer I don't think it does. I have never empty the water out of it. There is a dry button on it. I have used it for like 3 or more days straight. But maybe if you want to do both it might. I just use the cooling. Oh and it works great!

- Answer For the best performance, clean the air filter every two weeks. Carefully pull the top of the grill away from your air conditioner, then pull the air filter up and out.

- Answer Mine does the same, but it does it if the room is already cooled at that temperature I think..it’s been windy the last few days..let me know if yours is defective..I say test it out, also when I drain it, it doesn’t turn off as frequently, try that maybe..
