- Answer My best guess would be that it would along as your laptop has the USB-c type input for it. I currently use it with my desktop and my laptop (HP). It seems to work well and gives me more ports for accessories.

- Answer Have a MacBook Pro 16 inch 2021 and I now get this message when connecting the CD drive accessory with a different hub. The drive still works and I've had no problems with the quality of the recording. I have not asked Apple about the error message. Also, I've had the MBP connected to power and also not--get the same message.
