- Answer I started mine instantly and it has worked fine. The day we purchased it the temp was 95 outside and 77 in our upstairs living room. We plugged it up and it cooled the room off in about 15 minutes.

QuestionI see there’s a 3 prong outlet on the back. There’s no info on it on the manual. I plugged my phone into it and it doesn’t charge. How do I get this outlet to work? I even tried putting it on different settings.

- Answer Hi Lisa, the three prong outlet that you see is not actually an outlet - it is for storage of the power cord. Once wrapped up, it tucks into the "oulet" in the back

QuestionWe just moved and I am setting up my ac for the season I’ve had it 2 years now and none of the displays work at all everything is black no lights or anything though the remote works what do I do?

- Answer I would do a reset, press and hold the power, unplug the AC for 1 minute, and plug back in!

QuestionWhile on the auto setting the AC doesn’t ever change to the cool setting to pump cold air into the room. Remote is set to lower temp and follow me. Switching to cool also just uses the fan with no difference in sound or coolness. Wasn’t a problem before

QuestionIs there some sort of coating on the control panel? There are a couple of spots that look like it has torn saran-wrap type coating on it, maybe to protect the black plastic. I don't know if it should peel off completely.

- Answer I pealed off the plastic covering on the control panel. It's the same type of plastic wrap found on new TVs or computer screens.

- Answer The vent hose that fits in the window is about 5-6 inches high and the width is adjustable from 26.5 to 36 inches. (The actual unit sits on the floor.)

QuestionMy unit is completely stopping when desired temperature is reached, meaning the compressor and fan stops. The unit eventually kicks back in and both activate, but I thought the fan was supposed to run continuously in cool mode?
