QuestionI purchased this TV a few months ago and apps crash on it all of the time and error out. How do I fix this? Is there a way to update the apps? There is also issues where an app is closed, but there is still audio running in the background.

- Answer The 'N' series Insignias are not smart. Come in 1080p and are lowest price in the market. The better screens are F30's ...... and F50's IF you can find one now. Unless you are using it for real hi/def apps .. cable tv is 1080 anyway ..it is fine. Computer gaming .. ummm, no.

QuestionCan this Tv's smart features be turned off and just used with an Ota antenna.

- Answer I don't know about turning the smart features off, but I will tell you that you can connect an antenna and access the over the air content through the Fire TV interface. However, if you do not have an Amazon Priome subscription, I would recommend a TV without it. I think there are comparable Insignia Brand TVs that are not smart or use a different system.
