• I don't know if the tablets charging port will accept USB devices. Yes it has GPS capability, just remember that you have to download your maps from Google ahead of time since ti will not load them on the road if you are not connected to the internet. It does support wireless tethering to another device, so you could tether it to your phone, for example to get real time updates.

• It has a micro USB connector for charging and connecting to PC. The GPS does work without an internet connection, however you would need your maps cached ahead of time for the specific application you are trying to use. You could also tether it to a cellphone to supplement this.
