I have an older model 15 minute charger that is reaching to be 8 years old of the same brand (energizer). It can charge up to 4 batteries at a time. I am usually a lone gamer so I only normally use a single controller therefore I can charge 2 batteries while I game and if my controller lets up I swap and charge the 2 I just used.
The pros of doing this is the specifications of the battery packs by insignia 1200 mAh is a very small amount of charge for something that is supposed to be the equivalent of 2 AA batteries. They charge in 15 minutes in my 15 minute charger. The energizer charger has worked well for me for 8 years using multiple brands of batteries in it and it can also charge AAA batteries at the same time as the AA batteries.
The choice is of course yours but the versatility of having the energizer charger over an Xbox One only charger speaks for itself. I have used this charger for my wireless controllers on the Original Xbox, the Xbox 360 and now the Xbox One as well as my computer gaming accessories and other everyday objects.
